Former Strictly Come Dancing winner Bill Bailey has the ultimate name for Oti Mabuse’s baby, and he’s really given it some thought.

In 2020, at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, the comedian competed on the BBC programme with his professional dance partner, Oti Mabuse, 33.

After performing well consistently throughout the competition, the 58-year-old stormed to victory, lifting the coveted Glitterball Trophy with his partner and beating fellow celebrity competitors HRVY, Jamie Laing and Maisie Smith in the grand finale.

During Wednesday’s Loose Women, the panel spoke about Oti’s recent pregnancy news and whether the 58-year-old reached out to her.

Bill said; ‘When she said she was having a baby, I said well look here’s a couple of names for you.

‘Bill for a boy obviously, and Bailey if it’s a girl. It makes perfect sense right!’

Well, he’s not wrong.

The former Strictly Come Dancing star announced on August 26 that she and husband Marius Lepure, 40, were expecting their first child together with a gorgeous post on Instagram talking about their excitement.

And that’s not all, as the TV favourite also shared the news on her own show – ITV’s Oti Mabuse’s Breakfast Show.

The gorgeous moment saw Oti finish up her show by bringing on husband Marius and telling guests and audiences they have some ‘good news.’

The moment saw Oti’s guests absolutely freak out with joy, applauding and shouting as an emotional Oti wiped her eyes.

And the emotional moment was made even better by actress Chizzy Akudolu asking cheekily: ‘Is it Marius’s?!’

Oti and Marius met in Germany where they were paired as dance partners, and married in 2014.

Dancer Oti joined Strictly Come Dancing the following year, and she and Marius moved to the UK together – she has gone on to find major success in presenting, including her self-titled Saturday morning show
