Tommy Fury and his dad John Fury had an interesting reaction to a video of KSI threatening the Love Island star ahead of their match – responding to the pre-recorded message like it could hear them.

Good Morning Britain became a pantomime of sorts on Friday, as YouTuber KSI sent in a threatening (or attempted threatening) video to Tommy warning he was going to destroy him at their upcoming fight.

Hosts Kate Garraway and Ben Shepherd played the video for the father and son during their interview, and while Tommy sat back with his arms folded, John began shouting back at the video as though it could hear him, repeatedly calling him a ‘human pineapple.’

Before long Tommy was talking back to the video too, laughing along as KSI went completely over the top with threats inluding that the day of the fight would always be the worst day of Tommy’s life.

The clip absolutely baffled GMB viewers, with one writing: ‘Tommy Fury and KSI on GMB are high camp.’

‘John Fury there talking to a pre recorded video,’ one wrote exasperatedly, with another laughing that the Furys were ‘talking like they are fighting Mayweather.’

It comes after John flew into a rage and began flipping tables at a press conference for Tommy and KSI’s upcoming fight, after the YouTuber made a comment about boxing legend Tyson Fury.

The fight itself will take place on October 14 after what is proving to be a very dramatic lead-up.

Later in the GMB interview, Tommy admitted it was difficult to leave behind his seven-month-old daughter Bambi, and fiancee Molly-Mae, when his high-profile fights brought him all over the world.

Saying that having to be away from his family is his ‘mantra,’ Tommy went on: ‘I’m grinding every single day, going through hell, going through the trenches. Train hard, fight easy … this is going to be the best performance you’ve ever seen out of Tommy Fury.’

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays from 6am on ITV.
