Shannon Beador was arrested for a hit and run, and driving under the influence, it has been claimed.
The 59-year-old, who came to fame as part of the Real Housewives of Orange County cast, was reportedly taken into custody after an incident on Saturday night.
The Bravo star was accused of hitting a residential home in Newport Beach with her car and initially driving away.
According to TMZ, she reportedly parked her vehicle in the middle of the street and exited with her dog.
Sources alleged that the RHOC cast member tried to seem as though she was on a dog walk when police officers arrived on the scene, but ‘appeared wasted’.
She was taken into custody soon after, while her car was reportedly seized as part of an investigation.

A spokesperson for Newport Beach Police Department told the outlet that she was charged with two misdemeanors – driving under the influence of alcohol and hit and run – before she was released without bond.
Her lawyer, Mike Fell, added to TMZ: ‘I spent quite a bit of time with Shannon yesterday. She is extremely apologetic and remorseful.
‘We will be awaiting the official information on this case as it becomes available, and Shannon is prepared to accept full responsibility for her actions.’
Shannon has yet to address the claims publicly, and has not been active on social media since the news broke.
Jeff Lewis, a friend of the star, spoke about the allegations on his SiriusXM show earlier today, admitting he was shocked by the headlines.
‘Unfortunately [Shannon] got a DUI on Saturday night. She was also in a car accident. She was injured, so she’s going to be recovering,’ he said, via People Magazine.
‘Shannon and I have been friends for a very long time. I was shocked – she called me yesterday and we talked for a while – and I was shocked because I’ve never known Shannon to ever, ever drink and drive.
‘I will tell you she’s accepting full accountability. She is ashamed, she’s embarrassed.
‘She’s going to be entering counseling this week. So I’m happy about that.
‘Aside from Shannon, nobody was hurt in the accident. I’m not justifying it, I’m not condoning it. I’m just sharing with you what I know.’
