Becky Lynch needed 11 stitches after suffered a deep wound during her wild match at NXT No Mercy.

The WWE superstar successfully defended the NXT Women’s Championship against rising star Tiffany Stratton, but she didn’t emerge unscathed from their violent and intense Extreme Rules Match on Saturday night.

Both women went all out here with broken Barbie dolls, kendo sticks, steel chairs, a barbed wire baseball bat and a fire extinguisher all making appearances.

Stratton had some big moments herself, showing off her athleticism as she sent Lynch through the barricade, and hitting a Swanton Bomb off the top rope through a table on the outside.

The Man eventually put her opponent away with a Man-handle Slam onto a pile of chairs, with both women being applauded both by the live crowd and fans online for their incredible efforts.

Lynch has now taken to social media to share some snaps from the match and the aftermath, including a seriously gruesome shot of her arm with what appears to be exposed tissue oozing out – here’s your last chance to look away.

captioning the carousel of photos, Lynch paid tribute to Stratton and insisted ‘it will be’ her time again soon, while she appropriately shared a sick face emoji to describe the final photo.

She wrote: ‘NbeXT was rocking tonight. The Man brought @tiffanywwe to the main event but she brought it to The Man. Respect. It wasn’t Tiffy time this time. But it will be again.

As reported by Fightful Select, Lynch needed 11 stitches as a result of her injury, and fans were disgusted by the gruesome wound in the picture, with some followers claiming the yellow stuff is actually fat, showing how deep the cut went.

‘Mango looking stuff? That’s fat,’ one fan replied to another curious viewer, while another person added: ‘The fact there’s that much tissue exposed tells how deep that wound is. Mad respect for your dedication, Bex. Forever one of my all-time favorites.’

‘Jesus Christ that last slide 😳,’ commented a third fan, as AEW broadcaster Renee Paquette wrote: ‘Renee: Your arm!!!!! 😯’

Elsewhere on the show, Ilja Dragunov toppled Carmelo Hayes to become the new NXT Champion in an intensely physical clash, while Melo’s friend Trick Williams won the North American Title from Dominik Mysterio.

Baron Corbin scored a surprise win over Bron Breakker in a wild opener, before The Family overcame OTM, Humberto Carrillo and Angel Garza, and The Creed Brothers to hold onto the tag team gold, and Noam Dar just about held onto the Heritage Cup against Butch.
