WWE viewers were momentarily confused after Baron Corbin and Bron Breakker caused some technical difficulties at NXT No Mercy.
The two heated rivals kicked off Saturday night’s show with a wild brawl as the former NXT Champion hit a high risk dive onto Corbin, sparking a brawl through the crowd before the match could even get underway.
After the action spilled into the crowd, they ended up fighting back to the ringside area and Corbin went to hit a senton on his opponent.
Breakker slipped out of the way as the former United States Champion went crashing into the announce table, leaving fans baffled as suddenly there was no commentary.
Booker T and Vic Joseph fell silent in the aftermath of the big move before the latter confirmed the move knocked some wires out, but plenty of viewers had been wondering what the problem was.
‘What’s going on with Commentary? 😭 #NXTNoMercy,’ asked one fan on X (formerly Twitter), while another wondered: ‘The commentary table did really go silent. I was wondering what happened, or if it was just me. #NXTNoMercy’
‘Uhh I can’t hear the commentary 👀👀👀 #NXTNoMercy,’ wrote a third person as someone else said: ‘Is something going on? We can’t hear commentary #NXTNoMercy’
It happened a second time later into the match when Corbin – who ended up winning with the End of Days – hit Breakker with a spinebuster through the table.
‘That was an interesting minute or so with no commentary. I didn’t even notice because the #WWEUniverse is hyped and the action is awesome! #NXTNoMercy,’ wrote a viewer.
