You think you know him? WWE Hall of Famer Edge is All Elite.
The Rated R Superstar, now going by his real name Adam Copeland, has joined AEW and make a shock debut at the end of WrestleDream to save Sting and Darby Allin from an attack by Luchasaurus, Nick Wayne and childhood friend Christian Cage.
He came out as the show was coming to an end to his WWE theme music – Metallingus by Alter Bridge with a re-recorded ‘You think you know me?’ intro – as the crowd roared.
It happened just as Christian was about to hit Sting with a conchairto, but the lights dropped as a video package played showing a mystery man driving to the arena, with the pavement marked ‘Rated R Superstar’.
Copeland did take the chair looking like he would be the one to hit the Icon, but he cracked Wayne instead, and then Luchasaurus before hitting the latter with a Spear as Christian made his escape.
It comes just 24 hours after his WWE contract expired, which itself was weeks after he celebrated 25 years in the company.
