I bought a gorgeous mermaid Halloween costume from PLT but I don’t know if I can risk the bikini top as a 30 J-cup

A FASHIONISTA has admitted that she’s uncertain if she will ever leave the house wearing her skimpy Halloween costume.

Many of us prefer to wear a sexy outfit rather than striking fear into others when we step out to attend this season’s spooky events.

However, one trendsetter has argued that it’s possible to reveal too much when getting all dressed up.

Lara (@bigb00biebible) has garnered almost 95,000 followers on TikTok, where she shares her style advice for fuller-busted women.

In the countdown to Halloween, she has been trying on costumes from PrettyLittleThing to give her verdict on whether they are suitable for those with big chests.

She took to the social media platform wearing the brand’s three-piece blue mermaid set.

The $35 costume has sold out in most sizes but was initially available in XS to XXXL.

Lara said: “Girls I just picked up this outfit from PrettyLittleThing and I genuinely have to question myself.

“I’m thinking would I ever step out in public in this outfit?

“I know I’m posting this online so it sounds very contradictory but can we just take a minute?

“Obviously I couldn’t wear the top that came with it because it would be far too small for my bust so I popped it with a bikini top that I already owned.”

Lara teamed the sheer blue maxi skirt with white-heeled sandals and a metallic bikini top.

She showed how the costume looked on her from different angles while holding in her hands the tiny halterneck bralette that it originally came with.

She said: “The top that comes with it is very cute but would not support me or go anywhere near my bust. It’s no bigger than what I’m wearing right now.

“To all the girls that would go out in this genuinely the confidence I wish I had.

“But it’s just a bit much for me. I don’t know if I’d go out in it.

“Let me know you’re thoughts because it is a gorgeous mermaid outfit if you’ve got a party or something and want to be a little bit sexy.

“This is definitely a head-turner.”

Lara said she was forced to wear her a bikini top because the bralette was too smallTikTok/@bigb00biebible

Asking for opinions, Lara captioned the post: “Would you feel comfortable wearing this outfit?

“Some of the Halloween outfits I’ve seen online are very risque!

“And this mermaid costume from @PrettyLittleThing is gorgeous and really no different from a bikini and sarong!

“But I’m just not sure whether I feel comfortable wearing it.”

Lara added: “Would be perfect for a themed beach club on holiday!”

The post went viral with over 8,000 views and hundreds of likes as people took to the comment section encouraging her to wear it.

One person wrote: “You look amazing.” Another chimed in: “ If you’ve got it, flaunt it.”

Referring to Disney’s The Little Mermaid, a third added: “It’s giving Ariel.”
