IMPACT Wrestling star Trinity has admitted she and Jimmy Uso have had to adjust to their new life after she left WWE last year.

The current Knockouts Champion, who is married to the SmackDown superstar, made headlines in May 2022 when she and Sasha Banks walked out on the company over creative issues and she is now plying her craft elsewhere while her husband is a headline act in WWE.

Trinity, formerly known as Naomi, exclusively told Metro.co.uk: ‘It’s definitely been an adjustment, that’s for sure! But we support each other more now than ever! So, we make it work.

‘He comes to my shows, I go to his shows, it’s really cool. It’s also made us miss each other even more! It has its pros and cons as well.

‘No we’re not with each other every day, but it makes the time we are together now extremely special and extremely important. We’re both enjoying that.’

Trinity and Jimmy have been together for well over a decade, and getting used to travelling without her other half has been a real change.

‘We’ve been together 14 years now, and we’ve always been on the road together, always been in developmental, literally inseparable,’ she laughed. ‘It’s a new dynamic of our marriage , but it’s exciting, it’s refreshing. Who knows where all this is gonna end up, but we’re making it work where we are now!’

When the couple do hit the road together, it’s business as usual, but now home time means ‘work is shut off’.

‘But when we’re on the road or we’re working, at TV, we’re definitely talking about work and what we’re doing and sharing that with each other,’ she smiled.

‘Wrestling is still so much of our world, I don’t wanna miss what’s going on in his day. Since I’m not there, we have to share it with each other on the phone or FaceTime.

‘But I definitely… other than the physical part of me being there, I still feel very much connected there!’

Fans keep the bond strong too on social media, with viewers recently trying to tempt Jimmy to join his wife in IMPACT after Eddie Edwards sent her crashing through a table.

‘That was really cool! That shows too, that’s one of the positives about social media,’ she said.

‘Our fans are so smart, our fans are so connected, they know everything that’s going on! That’s the power of social media, that we’re able to – without even connecting both world, connect both worlds. And our fans just did that on their own!’
