I’m plus size and did an Amazon Halloween haul – the first costume is cute and has more ‘poof’ with a secret addition

A FASHIONISTA has wowed in a selection of Halloween costumes that flatter a fuller figure.

She shared her opinion on three themed outfits that each cost under $100 to help others decide what to wear at events throughout the spooky season.

The plus-size TikToker boasts over 16,000 followers and posts under the handle @curvygirlzoey.

She often shares her latest fashion finds as a size 18/20 trendsetter who weighs 280 pounds and stands at 5ft 5 inches.

She took to the social media platform holding a large pile of items that she had recently bought from Amazon.

She said: “I tried on plus-size Amazon costumes so that you don’t have to.”

The style enthusiast was all smiles as she tried on a costume that was inspired by Wonder Woman.

The Party King store on Amazon’s wonderful sweetheart plus size costume costs around $66 depending on the size and is available in sizes ranging from 1X to 5X.

CurvyGirlZoey said: “The fit of the costume itself is pretty nice and light so you wouldn’t get super hot depending on what the weather is like.

“But these arm cuffs are pretty big. My arms aren’t really small and they kind of want to go all the way up to my elbow.

“There isn’t some stretch to them. You probably would have to take those in and pin them a little bit if you want them to be tight to your wrist.

“But overall I’d say it’s a pretty solid costume. I did end up buying the tutu to put on underneath.”

She compared how the size 3X costume looked with and without the tutu, before revealing that the costume originally came with a dress, two arms cuffs, a crown, and a necklace.

She found the tutu that gave it an extra “poof” on Amazon for just $17.

She gave the costume her approval and then changed into a four-piece Ninja assassin outfit from Amazon’s Leg Avenue store.

It is available in sizes ranging from 2X to 4X for around $59.99.

CurvyGirlZoey said: “This one comes with the leggings, the jacket, and the tie around the waist which is attached but I think you can remove it.

“And then a face mask that I did not put on and arm guards.

“Overall fit is okay. I went down in size and got the 2X in this one and the leggings are definitely a bit snug and they might be a little bit see-through.

“But they seem okay and I think they will stay up.

“The top is a little bit tight but I think it shows off the girls a little better that way so I can’t say that I’m super mad at it.”

The fashionista finished the Amazon haul by trying a Red Riding Hood costume from the Leg Avenue store.

Prices vary from $56.50 to $79.95 depending on the size and go up to 4X.

She said: “This one is a little bit big so I think I could have sized down.

“I think I got the 2X in this one. It comes with these weird arm wraps which are literally just two strings that you’re supposed to wrap around and tie.

“They are kind of awkward and I don’t really like them.

“It’s definitely a cheaper feeling material than the last two, the bottom is kind of like a papery skirt.

“It might not be bad, I think if it was sized down or I took it in a little bit it would look cuter.”

The TikToker said she preferred the costume with her tutu worn underneath but still felt that it wasn’t worth the price.

The video went viral with over 1.2 million views, 39,000 likes, and commenters sharing their thoughts on which costume looked the best.

One person wrote: “I love the Ninja! All cute though.”

Another penned: “Thank you for this because I was considering the Ninja one.

A third said: “Don’t know why everyone is saying the Ninja one is the best, you looked super cute as Wonder Woman.”

A fourth added: “Thank you so much for all the amazing costume ideas. I’m struggling so badly to find a costume, but I’ll take a look.”
