Nia Jax has responded wonderfully to a cruel social media troll.

It’s 2023 and some people still can’t help themselves by simply not making unwarranted comments about a woman’s weight, but the WWE superstar wasn’t going to let the body-shaming slide.

After this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, Nia – whose real name is Lina Fanene – replied to an X/Twitter user who tagged her directly in a disgusting tweet.

‘@LinaFanene is only good for stuffing her face with Big Macs instead of being in a WWE ring,’ they wrote, while Nia coolly responded: ‘Quarter pounders you dumb Fkk’

Fans were left howling by her blunt reply, and others offered words of encouragement for the star in the face of social media abuse.

‘Everyone knows quarter pounders are the far superior burger,’ joked one follower, as another added: ‘You keep going with your fine self. You look great.’

Nia’s outfit on Raw prompted a lot of discussion, with some viewers brilliantly comparing the black and white design to an Oreo.

‘Nia dressed like an oreo,’ teased one fan on X, while another shared fire and heart eye emojis as they added on Instagram: ‘Nia Jax out there looking like a sexy ass Oreo.’

All the comments come after Nia admitted negativity and cruel comments online impacted her mental health, although she initially tried to shrug it off and accept it as part of her villainous character.

‘But the end of the day, like, when you’re by yourself, and you’re on your phone, and you’re looking at the constant hate, hate, hate, you’re like, okay, then you’re just constantly second-guessing yourself,’ she told WWE’s After The Bell podcast.

‘I’m second guessing everything I’ve done, like, you know, I need to improve and I need to do this, and I need to impress them, like the internet is really hating what I’m doing right now.

‘And it really, really messed me up. It got me into such a sad place of like, when I got released, I’m like, Yeah, of course, why not? I suck everybody. Like, there’s no need for me to be [in WWE] anymore.’

Back in April, Nia left fans stunned as she revealed her epic body transformation after losing three stone thanks to fellow wrestler Charlotte Flair.

She wrote on X at the time: ‘Me to @MsCharlotteWWE after her wedding: “I feel gross & uncomfortable! I want to lose weight”. @MsCharlotteWWE to me: “please let me help you! You got this woman”

‘Officially started in October…6 months later, down 48lbs🥺🙏🏽 Sends me killer workouts and motivates me 💪🏾🥺’
