Big Brother viewers are firmly in Trish’s corner after noticing ‘microaggressions’ being used against her by other housemates.

The 33-year-old mum from Luton has had a tough couple of weeks in the ITV house.

She was randomly chosen to put three housemates up for a killer nomination, resulting in a blazing row with Dylan, then all hell broke loose during Yinrun’s party when she branded Paul a ‘bully.’

And since all terrible things come in threes in the BB house, Trish then had the deciding vote in the Hunger Games challenge, putting Jenkin up for eviction this Friday… on his birthday.

Despite not getting along with Jenkin, fan favourite Trish very clearly felt terrible about the whole situation, which led to tears in the Diary Room the next day.

In conversation with Big Brother, Trish – who is hotly anticipated to make the final – broke down as she expressed her guilt.

‘Even though I wasn’t really happy with him, I didn’t want him to have a bad birthday. It’s a special day,’ she said.

Wiping her tears away, she continued: ‘And I don’t even feel like I have the right to be upset about it because it feels like I’m manipulating the situation by being sad and I have no right because he should be sad.’

‘All housemates will go through it sooner or later, Trish,’ Big Brother reminded her.

‘I know, I know. It’s stupid. But it’s his first time,’ she replied.

‘He was saying, “It’s ok, it’s ok,” but you know it’s not ok. Nobody’s ok with that.

‘I’ve been up for nomination twice and it’s not an ok feeling.’

Viewers’ hearts shattered watching Trish get emotional, especially given that she’s often the housemate dishing out free therapy and words of wisdom to the others.

‘Seeing Trish cry over having to nominate Jenkin to his face hurt me,’ one person tweeted.

‘These people need to leave this woman alone! Trish has been through enough, I hate seeing her cry’, penned another.

While plenty were heartbroken at Trish’s candid chat with Big Brother, others were raging.

Viewers took to social media to accuse other housemates of using ‘microaggressions’ against her, after believing Trish to be painted as the ‘angry Black woman’ on-screen.

The likes of Tom and Paul have previously called her ‘aggressive’ for stating her case and expressing her feelings during heated moments.

It all seems to have come to a head now, with Trish really feeling the emotional toll of having her character questioned in the house.

One viewer tweeted: ‘no the bullies have made Trish cry now with their constant microaggressions they can all get voted out ASAP’.

‘Tom has spent the entire time since he opened his mouth yelling names and microaggressions at Trish and he’s still complaining that Trish rightfully called Paul a bully’, another raged.

‘The microaggressions and nastiness directed toward them are out of control. But I love how they support each other’, one fan added, referring to Trish and Noky and their friendship.

Big Brother continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
