In a recent YouTube video, she bagged some pieces from Rita Ora’s latest collection in the high street store.
Ellie – the girlfriend of Celtic’s Liam Shaw, currently on loan at Wigan Athletic – said: “We’ve got our first Christmas partywear haul.
“All of this Primark stuff got released [last] Tuesday so I went to the Trafford Centre and I literally spent £400 in Primark. Like how is that even possible?
“But I bought everything, so we’ve got the full collection.
“We can try all the bits on, see what’s worth spending your money on and if you needed some outfit inspiration for a work Christmas party or just a going out outfit for the festive period, then I’ve got you.
“We’ve got some very nice pieces, like pieces you would not expect to see in Primark.”
And the size 10 footie WAG’s top buy appeared to be a £16 sparkly grey mini skirt.
Pairing it with a matching oversized blazer, which she bagged for £32, Ellie said: “How gorgeous is that?
“I feel like the length is perfect for me. Oh my God I’m obsessed.”
She added: “This skirt is actually going to be a very good basic in somebody’s wardrobe if you wanted to ‘pop’ an outfit a little bit.
“A basic mini skirt that’s got a bit of sparkle running through.
“How many different tops and sweatshirts and jumpers and knits can you throw on with this and make it a little bit more festive?
“So that could be a good investment for somebody’s wardrobe.”
Describing the skirt on their website, Primark bosses said: “Rita Ora fans rejoice, the star is back with her second collection just in time for the festive season and it proves that tailoring can be taken to dazzling new heights — starting with this glitter mini skirt!
“Made with a soft and slightly structured fabric, this skirt boasts a panelled design and has been made more glam with the addition of all-over glitter to really help you shine ya light.
“This black mini skirt is perfect for pairing with the coordinating blazer for a formal touch or even styled with a sheer top or bodysuit from the rest of the Rita Ora collection.
“We’re betting you’ll reach for this all season and beyond.”
But Ellie’s sparkly skirt has divided opinion on social media.
One gushed: “The glitterball outfit looks great! Very Christmas Day.”
Another, however, claimed: “I think the skirt would have looked nicer if it had been a bit longer.
“When you have the jacket on it looks like you just have the jacket on with nothing underneath.
“Maybe it’s my age but that makes it look less classy.”
Moving away from her glittery co-ord, Ellie also bagged an £18 sparkle knit jumper, a black frill top for £16 as well as a £38 pair of sparkly black heeled boots.
“I just love the length of the pointed toe on them, they look so expensive and so classy”, she gushed.
She hailed a pair of black diamante pinstripe jeans as the perfect understated Christmas party piece and insisted they’re “to die for”.
She also took home a faux leather bomber jacket, cropped black blazer, and the Zara dupe faux fur jacket.
She gushed: “I’m very impressed.
“Primark have literally upped their game so much recently and this drop is absolutely gorgeous.”
But there was one item in Ellie’s haul that didn’t live up to her expectations.
The fashionista was excited to try the £22 red ruffle mini dress for something a little bit “sexy and Christmassy”.
After trying it on, however, she was disappointed in the dress’s length – and warned petite shoppers against it.
She said: “I feel like if you are shorter than me it’s probably going to be a bit of an awkward length on you because like I said I’m 5ft 7in and it probably fits me a little tiny bit longer than I would have liked.
“So if you are smaller, then just be prepared it might be a bit long.
“Don’t hate it, don’t love it.”
