I got a Gossip Girl inspired dress for my holiday party, it’s so extra but the zip wouldn’t close even when I sized up
WHILE on the hunt for the perfect holiday party dress, one woman was left less than inspired by her Asos find.
The fashion fan modeled her latest purchase for her followers, showing them the sizing issue that makes it unwearable.

As she unboxed the item, the TikToker pointed out an inconsistency with the product’s description online.
“From the photo on the website, it doesn’t look this pink, it’s definitely not the same color,” she told her followers.
Stef purchased a $238 pink one-shoulder ruffled dress with a cutout detail.
In a second video, she revealed that the look was inspired by the characters from Gossip Girl.
“This is definitely not going to be the one,” she predicted as she held the item up against her.
“This is it, it’s so extra but I think I kind of like it,” Stef explained to her audience.
“Cute dress but what a shocker, it doesn’t fasten,” she said, revealing that she sized up in the item.
Stef turned to the side to show viewers the zipper she couldn’t close on the bodice of the dress.
“It’s fine, I wasn’t going to keep it anyway because it’s so expensive but I do really like the dress, just imagine if it fit and it wasn’t $238,” she said.
As well as sizing, the embellished bodice posed another issue for Stef while trying it on.
“I will say as well, this is quite itchy, the sequins, they’re really itchy on your arm,” she said.
Stef decided she would return the dress, explaining that she wouldn’t personally spend so much on a dress for a holiday party.
