My Shein wedding dress was £54, had a corset back and the quality was ‘phenomenal’ – everyone said I looked so beautiful

One bride has revealed how she saved her pennies though, buying a budget bridal gown from Shein – much to the shock of her followers.

For those who’ve yet to walk down the aisle, you had better start saving now if you want your dream wedding.
According to Hitched, the average cost of a wedding in the UK is an eye watering £18,400 with the price rising by 6 per cent since 2021.
Though many brides are looking for a way to save on their big day, we doubt many would be willing to skimp on their dress.
In fact, the dress is the second most expensive item at a wedding and cost an average of £1350.
It is unsurprising given that many women start planning the perfect dress as kids and spend years dreaming about their big day.
This didn’t stop one thrifty US woman though who bought her gown at Shein for just $67.99 (£54) – a fraction of the normal cost.
Whilst most of us would be worried about ordering the all-important dress without trying it on first, Jenn’s fitted her perfectly and the lace details only enhanced her curves.
The budget-friendly bridal gown even had a mermaid train and delicate corset fastening, which came a beautiful satin ribbon to tie it with.
Showing off her outfit online, she gushed: “I think this gonna be the one that I use for pictures….the quality is phenomenal.”
Pairing the gown with a lace veil and a glittering belt, also bought from the discount store, Jenn looked every inch the blushing bride in the short video.
“I am, dare I say obsessed,” she added, as she gave a final view of her ‘phenomenal’ gown.
If you weren’t already impressed, the dress was one of three gowns the Tiktoker bought for her big day – with each one costing less than $100.
For those who are curious, she spent just $27.99 (£22.25) and $64.99 (£51.65) on her other dresses.
Unsurprising, Jenn’s followers were also in love with her wedding dress and raced to the comments to congratulate the bride-to-be.
“Okay but…[the] body is bodying!!!” said one fan, who was clearly impressed with how the discount dress showed off the Tiktoker’s hourglass figure.
Another called it ‘perfect’, whilst a third even revealed that the same dress had also been sitting in their shopping cart.
They wrote: “This was on my list!! Looks so good on.”
Others begged the content creator for the Shein code, with many brides also wanting to wear the budget gown on their big day.
Rather sweetly, Jenn even offered to ship the gown to another bride – in case they needed a last minute gown.
