Primark sends fans into a frenzy after launching its viral pyjama sets in new festive colours for Christmas

THE HIGH street retailer Primark has done it yet again – this time, in the form of festive PJs fans are going totally wild over.

The viral Soft Touch Boyfriend Pyjamas have already become all the rage in the recent months, with shoppers even preferring the quality to posh SKIMS loungewear.

But just when you thought the £15 bargain buy couldn’t get any better, the high street store has revealed there’s a new colour joining the much-loved collection – and it’s the perfect pick for the festive season ahead.

According to one style lover, only known as @penneys.sligo on TikTok, Primark are also now selling the cosy pyjamas in bright red – and it’s already been branded a ”need” not a want by many.

The stunning Santa red is just one of the handful of colours customers can choose from – others include black, navy, grey, as well as a few PJs with prints.

However, when grabbing a set, some have also advised to ”go a size up at least once or twice”, as the sizing appears to be all over the place.

Although some may find the price tag unusually hefty for Primark, it seems that the pyjamas are a worthwhile investment, as many claimed they were worth every penny.

”I wear PJs day and night cause I work from home and they just make me feel more put together than my other PJs,” one fan of the loungewear staple, Bambi, recently revealed.

Fellow bargain hunters will also be delighted to hear that the viral pyjamas are very similar in design to luxe Jersey Piped Printed Classic Pyjama Set by The White Company.

Both sleeping essentials boast a chic collar design, a cute pocket by the chest, as well as an incredibly soft and cosy material.

The only difference? The price. Whereas Primark offer their pyjamas for £15, The White Company lookalike retails for an eye-watering £75, making it five times more expensive.

Needless to say, shoppers were sent into a frenzy, as dozens raced to comments, where they tagged their friends and family to inform them.

One told their mate: ”these for Xmas eve.”

Someone else chimed in: ”we need the red for Christmas.”

”It’s a need and not a want,” another penned.

Meanwhile, while the reaction was mainly positive, not everyone was raving about the bargain buy, as one shopper warned: ”Don’t sit or lay on anything white/cream/bright…red ones stained my brand new sofa.”

”I love these but omg they made my skin itch so badly,” a Primark fan added.

Heading to Primark this weekend? Don’t forget to check out their latest jacket range – according to money-saving shoppers, the brand is selling a Zara faux fur coat dupe for £70 less.

While the posh version by the Spanish fashion giant Zara retails for an astronomical £109.99, the budget-friendly lookalike scans for £40.

But it’s not just the crazy price difference that has got everyone talking on TikTok – people have been raving about the design of the jacket too.

Both items come with a stunning collar detailing to keep your neck warm and sit around your waist area, making it the perfect fit for your winter wardrobe.

The Cropped Faux Fur Coat is available from Primark’s range with the stylish singer Rita Ora and comes in sizes XS to XL.
