Fashion fans mock Louis Vuitton for $2,470 ‘illusion’ boots – people say they’re ‘not paying that much for cankles’

A FASHION critic has mocked the latest Louis Vuitton boots that retail for over $2,000.

She, and many of her followers, agree that they would never pay that much money for something they thought was ridiculous.

Louis VuittonWhile the boots didn’t exactly fit her style, she did praise the brand for being inclusive[/caption]

The content creator (@unbeylievable) shared her reaction to the shoes in a video with her TikTok followers.

“So Louis Vuitton has released their Illusion boot… y’all, look at these Miss Doubtfire boots,” she said.

“Look at these Miss Trunchbull-a** boots,” she continued, referencing the villain from the children’s book Matilda.

She moved to reveal the product page behind her, with boots that were designed to look like a pair of legs in heels.

The boots, which come in a “light” and “dark” version for different skin tones, retails for $2,470.

“I hope you think in the year 2023 they weren’t going to be inclusive because… get into it,” she said, revealing the boot in the “dark” version.

“This boot marched with Malcolm… standing on nonsense,” she joked.

For the viewers in her comments section, the jokes just kept coming, as if they were writing themselves.

“It’s giving A Christmas Story leg lamp,” said one commenter.

“These boots smacked my leg with a paper fan when I giggled during the sermon,” said another.

“When I have to wear a skirt but don’t want to shave my legs,” joked a third.

One person felt the name wasn’t fitting: “Should have called it the ‘Delusion’ boot,’” they said.

Others thought the price tag simply wasn’t worth it: “I am not paying that much for cankles,” said one viewer.
