Amanda Knox has welcomed her second baby with husband Christopher Robinson!

Congratulations are in order for the happy parents, as they welcomed their second child together two years after their first. Previously, Amanda opened up about suffering a miscarriage, so it’s not been a smooth road to get here for the couple.

The podcaster and author, 36, and Christopher revealed Amanda had a relatively easy birth when they welcomed their bundle of joy to the family on September 23.

The pair already share daughter Eureka, who they welcomed in 2021. While giving birth to her first was a ‘shocking’ experience – as it would be, the first time you push a human out of your body – Amanda said this time it was ‘ideal as far as births go’.

What’s more husband Christopher read Amanda poetry over her contractions – all with the help of a little epidural injection. Phew.

‘The birth was really, really ideal as far as births go,’ said Amanda on her Younglings podcast.

‘It was a very chill room. It was just Chris and me this time… Chris was reading poetry to me, and I was having contractions. But then I had an epidural and then I was easy-peasy,’ she recalled.

Meanwhile, the ‘poor woman next door’ was screaming out in agony, and Chris recalled how Amanda wanted to take some of her pain if she could.

‘Amanda pushed like three times. She pushed nine times for three contractions… and the third contraction, baby popped out,’ Chris shared.

Reflecting on the exact time their new baby was born, Chris revealed: ‘He was born on September 23, 2023 at 9.23pm.’

‘Isn’t that crazy?’ asked Chris, as he continued: ‘We were immediately like, well we don’t believe in numerology but it we did, that’s crazy.’

He was 7lbs 6 ounces, and apparently in ‘perfect’ health.

So chilled was Amanda this time, that she even felt the baby’s head as it was coming out of her.

‘I did get to feel the head when it was crowning which was cool and bizarre,’ she said.

Amanda confirmed her exciting pregnancy news on Instagram in August, sharing a snap of her growing baby bump.

Alongside the upload, which showed her relaxing on a bench in a floral jumpsuit, she quipped: ‘”Pregspreading” @oxfordenglishdictionary.’

Amanda is best known as being falsely accused, convicted – and later acquitted – of the murder of her former roommate, Meredith Kercher, in 2007, while they lived in Italy.

She later met Chris in 2015, with the couple announcing their engagement in November, 2018.

They secretly tied the knot weeks later before throwing a second ceremony for their friends and family in February, 2020.

The following year, they confirmed that they would be welcoming their first child, Eureka, in an episode of her Labyrinths podcast.
