My bridesmaids spent $375 each on House of CB dresses for my wedding, I was horrified when I saw how they really looked

A NEWLYWED bride has revealed the chaos she had with her bridesmaids’ dresses ahead of her nuptials.

She had high expectations when they ordered a stylish strapless gown from women’s clothing retailer House of CB.

Jessica Cromartie (@heygorjess) has garnered over 35,000 followers on TikTok, where she shares her love of fashion.

She took to the social media platform to share wedding preparations ahead of her summer ceremony in New Orleans.

She shared a snap of a figure-hugging strapless dress selected for her bridesmaids to wear on her big day.

House of CB’s Adrienne satin strapless gown is available in sizes ranging from XS to L+ in five different colors.

The brand describes it as draping “sexily across the bust” and cinching the waist for a feminine look.

However, Jessica was left unimpressed when she saw how the dress looked on her bridesmaids.

She shared a snap of the model wearing it on the House of CB website before comparing it to her three bridesmaids.

“What my bridesmaids ordered from House of CB VS what they got,” read the text over the video.

The gown looked ill-fitting on her bridesmaids and the fabric had creased badly despite being listed as “high quality” on the brand’s website.

She shared an email from a representative of House of CB, which read: “We’re unable to see any issues in the photos attached, the dress just seems to be too big on her which isn’t a manufacturing issue.

“If there’s anything else we can help with, let us know.”

Jessica vented about the disappointing dress in the caption of her video.

“My bridesmaids ordered this $375 dress from @houseofcb and it looks nothing like the photo,” Jessica wrote.

“The response from customer service was rude and not helpful at all.

“All I’m asking for is to allow my bridesmaids to return them even though it’s passed the return window.”

The dress is currently reduced to $299 on their website.

Hundreds of people liked the viral video and took to the comment section tagging the brand in the hopes of getting her a refund.

Many people admitted they had similar problems when ordering from the popular British clothing brand.

“This isn’t the first time I heard of this problem @houseofcb you effed up,” one commented.

“@Houseofcbofficial you guys need to do better, this is unprofessional,” another wrote.

“House of CB has gone downhill in terms of quality and customer service,” a third quipped.

“The dress seems too big because they definitely altered it to fit the model to give her a snatched waist,” a fourth said.

“Right!! My bridesmaids were expecting a snatched waist too!! Lol,” Jessica replied.
