All the times Kate Middleton has dressed like a Quality Street – after she wowed in a ‘Big Purple’ suit

LIFE is like a box of chocolates, but for Kate Middleton her wardrobe is.

Following in Queen Elizabeth’s footsteps, the Princess of Wales has a multicoloured wardrobe.

From rich emerald to hot pinks, she’s always brightening up our news feeds with her stylish looks bursting with vibrancy.

Last month Catherine hosted the Shaping Us National Symposium at London’s Design Museum wearing a double breasted blazer and fitted trousers in a deep purple hue from Emilia Wickstead.

Whilst her look is undoubtedly a perfect combination of fun and sophisticated, we noticed that the suit’s shade is similar to one of our favourite Christmas confectionery.

The Princess of Wales wows in violet.

And this isn’t the first time Catherine, 41, has twinned with the festive tin.

Here, Fabulous’ fashion editor Clemmie Fieldsend reveals the times Kate looked good enough to eat.

BOND SWIRL

Princess Kate mirrors the shine of the Caramel Swirl.

Kate hit the red carpet alongside Prince William in 2021 for the premier of James Bond film No Time To Die in one of her most show stopping looks to date.

Wearing a floor sweeping caped gown by Jenny Packham, embellished with thousands of sequins and beads.

The glittering gown had the same high-shine look as the Caramel Swirl.

GO GREEN

Catherine twins with the Green Triangle.

The Princess of Wales wowed in a bright green dress at the Earth Shot Awards in 2022.

Catherine not only wore green but was green in her eco dressing, with a Solace dress that she rented for the evening from rental site, Hurr.

Kate’s figure-hugging frock not only mirrored the green-carpet, but the Green Triangle too.

WOULD YOU BELIZE IT?

Kate looks good enough to eat as the Fudge Christmas Chocolate.

Kate looked to cult celebrity loved brand, The Vampire’s Wife for the perfect look whilst on tour with William in Belize.

The Duchess was a vision in the metallic number in the brand’s signature silhouette.

The colour is also Quality Streets Fudge signature hue, and her exaggerated sleeve also resembles the wrappers ends.

KATE GOT THE CREAM

The Strawberry Cream Quality Street matches Kates Ascot outfit.

For this year’s Royal Ascot, Kate hit the track in a head-to-toe red look.

Wearing a flowing dress by her go-to designer Alexander McQueen with matching Phillip Tracey hat and Jennifer Chamandi.

Katherines vivid red look is exactly the same colour as Quality Street favourite, Strawberry Cream.

BLUE BLOOD

Wowing in cobalt blue Catherine is a double for the Coconut chocolate.

This year the royal family attended an Easter service at St George’s Chapel this year and we’re all in sync with their colour choice.

Kate and most senior members of the family wore blue with Catherine wearing a Catherine Walker coat dress with matching Lock and Co hat in cobalt blue.

The striking shade is a double for the Coconut chocolate tin, even down to her hat.

BROWNIE POINTS

Fashionable Kate looks like the teal coloured Caramel Brownie.

The Princess of Wales presented the Queen Elizabeth II Award to an emerging British designer in May 2022 in a belted teal dress by Canadian designer Edeline Lee.

Catherines sleek look with an elegant demi high neck and tied half sleeves was a hit amongst the fashionable guests – and us.

But aside from ticking style boxes she ticked another choc from the Quality Street box off the list.

PRETTY PENNY

Catherine in a striking orange outfit that also has a striking resemblance to the Toffee Penny.

At the beginning of this year Catherine dressed for the occasion when she worn orange with a black belt to the Foxcubs Nursery in Luton, Bedfordshire.

Dressed in a knitted high neck jumper and A-line skirt  two piece by Gabriela Hearst, Kate cleverly matched her red-orange ensemble to the colours of a fox.

But we noticed she’s also matching the Toffee Penny.
