Bam Margera has confirmed his engagement to fiancée Dannii Marie, after a whirlwind romance.

The Jackass actor has had a rollercoaster few years, and was placed on a 72-hour psychiatric hold in June.

Shortly after that, the 44-year-old met his partner for the first time and recently credited her for his efforts to get sober.

In a new interview with US Weekly, the stuntman revealed that he got down on one knee in October.

‘We’re just a really good team,’ he said. ‘I never had structure before. I always woke up not knowing what to do with the day … I would just look across the street, see an Irish pub and be like, “That looks like fun.”

‘Now I wake up, I walk the dogs, I stretch, I go to the gym, I go skateboarding. Everything’s a structured fun schedule.

‘And we do it together, and it’s just a perfect thing.’

‘She’s everything I’ve ever asked for — I couldn’t ask for anything more,’ he added of his bride-to-be. ‘We are a perfect team.’

Bam, who was previously married to Nicole Boyd, and Dannii met in June and were romantically linked the following month.

In September, he marked one month of sobriety after years of struggles with addiction, and thanked his partner for remaining by his side.

‘Thanks to @danniimarieofficial for one month of sobriety and getting me happy, healthy and fit as well as the small circle of friends that have supported us,’ he said at the time.

Later that month, Dannii celebrated the actor’s 44th birthday with a sweet post, penning: ‘Happy Birthday to this amazing, one of a kind soul.

‘Words cannot express the connection and the bond we share. Keep after your goals and your eyes on the future. I am beyond proud of you and I love being by your side.’

Bam was previously married to Missy Rothstein for five years until 2012, and then walked down the aisle with Nicole in Iceland in 2013.

The pair went on to welcome son Phoenix Wolf together, before Nicole filed for divorce in February, bringing their 10-year marriage to an end.

She cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the separation, and requested legal and physical custody of their child – but wanted her ex to have visitation rights in the Los Angeles county area.
