In the image, Madeline stood amongst her brother and parents, as she wore a burnt orange gown that featured a sweetheart neckline.
Because it dipped down low on her chest and had push-up style cups, her cleavage was fully on display.
And clearly, that style wasn’t going to sit well with the families who received the card.
“When my mom Sharpied my cleavage in every single Christmas card,” she began in the clip.
After showing the original photo, she then flashed to the PG-rated one, which had a black marker outline along her chest so that no excess skin was in sight.
Viewers found the crafty solution hilarious.
“I’m dying,” one person wrote, with another echoing, “Crying.”
A third noted the mother’s talent: “How did she do this? It’s so good.”
And a fourth said Madeline wasn’t alone: “My mother used to do this.”
Madeline isn’t the only one who learned her look was inappropriate from someone else, as TikToker Marie Dee (@notmariedee) said she was disciplined by HR for her sexy work fit.
Although the hot pink frock featured long sleeves and a floor-length style, it hugged her body a bit tighter than her workplace liked.
“Got sent home for my outfit but I kind of get it,” she said.
Viewers, however, had her back.
