Years before sparks flew between them, the comedian, who identifies as non-binary and uses they/them pronouns, actually tweeted about Parvati on Survivor, revealing that they were a fan.
‘I love Parvati and Boston Rob from Survivor so much that I just cried about it, but nobody in England knows what I’m talking about,’ they wrote in a tweet posted on May 15 2020.
Fast-forward three years, and they’re sharing kisses in the photobooth, enjoying beachfront views together and painting their faces with matching neon paint.
In a comment underneath Parvati’s post revealing their romance, writer Evan Ross Katz appeared to hint that he played a part in them getting together.
‘A perfect pair. Honored to have played the tiniest role in this epic link-up. Love you both,’ he wrote.
Fellow Survivor star Katurah Topps commented excitedly: ‘AHHHHHHHHH MAE?!?? I just screamed soo loud!! Major major congrats! 🔥🙌🏾.’
Parvati had captioned her post: ‘We’re here. We’re queer. Happy new year ❤️🌈🏳️⚧️,’ alongside the pictures of her and Mae pecking each other on the cheeks before sharing a kiss on the lips.
Mae wrote a similar caption to accompany the same photobooth images, writing: ‘Parv’s here, she’s queer, Happy New Year.’
