However, in the aftermath, when she installs a nanny-cam to keep an eye on her infant daughter, she spots Joe coming back to the house as an intruder.
Meanwhile, Danya Griver and Daniel Burt star as Keegan’s niece and nephew in the series as they attempt to solve another murder – that of their own mother.
Despite already boasting stellar names in its cast list, the biggest of all is perhaps Dame Joanna Lumley – and Keegan has admitted that it was tough having TV royalty on set for one reason in particular.

Dame Joanna’s character, Judith Burkett, is the mother-in-law to Keegan’s character, but the pair have a fractured relationship after Joe’s apparent death.
But the former Coronation Street actress, 36, has confessed that she found it hard to argue in character with the Absolutely Fabulous star, especially in some expletive-laden scenes.
Speaking on The One Show, she admitted that she was dreading having to insult Dame Joanna: ‘Honestly, when I read the script, I was like, “Oh no, oh no!”‘

‘We had a bit of a laugh, didn’t we, when we were rehearsing? I don’t think I said it when we were in rehearsals, I was like, “I can’t! I can’t!”‘
Dame Joanna, 77, confessed she found it to be a shock at first.
‘When it’s not used very often, bad language comes… it slaps out of the screen at you, it does.’
However, Keegan and Dame Joanna both revealed that they had tremendous fun with certain scenes and that their relationship off-screen remains solid.
Late last year, Keegan also let viewers know that her role was nearly taken by Julia Roberts, but that talks fell through because Roberts wanted to turn the series into a film.
She recalled: ‘I remember when I first met Harlan, he was saying that they were in talks with Julia because Julia wanted to make it into film.
‘But the book wouldn’t have been a film really, it needed to be a series.’
