Kate Garraway‘s husband Derek Draper has died following an almost four-year battle with long Covid. He was 56.
Draper had been suffering with long Covid since contracting coronavirus in March 2020.
Tributes have poured in since Garraway posted an emotional statement on Instagram saying her ‘darling husband’ had died. The TV personality said she had been ‘holding his hand throughout his last long hours’.
Draper and Garraway were married for almost 20 years and share two children: daughter Darcey, 17, and son Billy, 14.
