The Masked Singer is back and the second round of disguised stars have sang their hearts out – but who is Eiffel Tower?

Rumours are whirring about who each celebrity behind the mask is, with guesses ranging from the likes of Emily Atack to Geri Halliwell-Horner.

Tonight’s show saw Eiffel Tower, Chicken Caesar, Piranha, Owl, Bubble Tea and Air Fryer take to the stage, with yet another singer unveiled.

Chicken Caesar, who sang Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Under The Bridge with some impressive flair, was sent home and revealed to be Pointless host and radio presenter Alexander Armstrong.

But fans and the panel – made up of Rita Ora, Jonathan Ross, Mo Gilligan, and Davina McCall – were left scratching their heads at the French landmark.

Who could it be? Well, they shimmied on stage and sang Voulez-Vous by Abba. Who knows. The outfits aren’t always the most straight forward clues, let us tell you…

Lots of references to France and a very thick – perhaps suspiciously so – French accent

Clue: ‘Ooh la la, ohh la la, mon chant était très bon. It may not have been Monty, but it was defo Python.’ (Translation: My singing was very good… and something to do with Monty Python?)

Before exiting, Eiffel Tower said: ‘Some spicy guesses there, the panel could be Geri close to working out who I am.’

Who could Eiffel Tower on The Masked Singer be?

We know Eiffel Tower can sing. We know Geri Halliwell-Horner can sing too.

But that’s not entirely the reason judge Jonathan linked her to the Parisian landmark outfit.

With all the references to Sex and the City, superfan Jonathan recognised that Geri actually appeared as a cameo in the beloved series as Kim Cattrall’s pal Phoebe.

What’s more, Geri and her Red Bull racing F1 boss husband Christian Horner actually honeymooned in the French town of Cannes.

And, with all the London clues, surely this could be nodding to Geri’s iconic Spice Girls outfit, in which she wore the Union Jack dress.

Time will tell…

‘Can I just say your voice is incredible that was a really amazing performance Eiffel Tower,’ began Rita, before dropping a serious name in the mix.

Enter Kim Cattrall, who Rita reckons is Eiffel Tower for a number of very interesting reasons.

Rita reckons the Abbey Road image in the video is making us think of The Beatles. And where are they from? Liverpool.

After all the Sex and the City references, Rita could only deduce Eiffel Tower is in fact Kim – who is also, by the way, from Liverpool.

As for the Paris link – rumours have circulated for some time that Kim could be appearing in an Emily in Paris cameo as the writer of Sex and the City Darren Star also wrote the hit Netflix show.

So clearly Sex and the City is a theme here, and heavy references got all the judges’ eyes popping.

The mention of a diary in the video made Davina think of Sex and the City’s Carrie Bradshaw and her newspaper column.

The last scene SJP had with Mr Big was also in Paris, so the whole Eiffel Tower thing really makes sense.

She also has a fantastic voice, having trained in singing and ballet as a young girl.

As for all of the London references, the actor has been known to love the Big Smoke…

Mo Gilligan went with a curveball answer for Eiffel Tower and guessed West End star Sheridan Smith was behind the mask.

Having performed in a number of musicals including Little Shop of Horrors, Legally Blonde, Funny Girl, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat the comedian can sing, that’s for sure.

But fans weren’t so convinced, as X user @playwithfire_90 took to socials and said: ‘Watching the masked singer. The panel suggested Eiffel Tower might be Sheridan smith. A couple of series ago my mum was determined someone was her. She was wrong.’
