The Celebs Go Dating star, 37, fractured his eye sockets and nose in a ‘freak accident’ on the UK edition of the US reality show presented by Mark Wright last year.
James, who was hospitalised after the horror incident, has now undergone corrective surgery at Serene Cosmetic in Turkey and has shared the results on Instagram.
The Celebrity Dinner Date star posted a slide of pictures, which included selfies immediately after the procedure showing his face bruised and bandaged up, as well as his ‘new face’ two weeks post-surgery.
Taking his 1.1M followers through the eight snaps and sharing an insight into the recovery process, James captioned the post: ‘Surgery dump so far! Swipe to see what my face looked like before and parts of my journey.’
He previously addressed surgery in a video posted to Instagram in December:’Anyone that knows me knows the accident bothered me, it’s left a bit of a dent.

‘I’ve wanted it done for a long time and it’s something I’ve really thought about.’
The Challenge UK host Mark previously spoke about James’ injuries on This Morning, telling then-hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield they were sustained in a ‘freak accident.’
Recalling how the incident happened, Mark said: ‘It was a platform above water, I think it was about three meters high, which is quite high.
‘It was just the way he, unfortunately, hit the water that he fractured both of his eye sockets. It was terrible.’

Mark later branded James a ‘warrior’ following the ordeal and revealed that he was persistent despite losing the challenge.
A source previously told The Sun: ‘James was rushed to hospital after seriously bruising his face within the first 3 days of filming the Challenge UK.’
They added: ‘The injury was caused during one of the many dangerous activities contestants have to take part in, it was so scary to see, he was in agony.’
Filmed in Argentina, the five-part series follows fourteen celebs taking part in a set of gruelling challenges as pairs.
