Fashion fan Claire Brodsky (@clairebrodsky) doesn’t mind poking fun at herself if it brings others some laughs.
While strolling the New York City streets, she stopped to tell viewers in a video about a dating fail.
She filmed herself from the chest up as she wore a long-sleeve brown shirt.
It wasn’t until the day after that she realized her wardrobe malfunction.
“I went on a date last night, and I wore this top, and I thought it was super flattering and nice, and then I noticed this,” she said.
She lifted up her arms to show her audience large wet armpit stains.
“I’m not even sweating. It’s just one of those tight shirts that you can’t not have pit stains in,” she detailed.
Claire added that she was “so embarrassed” that she didn’t notice it sooner.
“I’m pretty positive on my entire date, this was there,” she said.
If she didn’t wear it again, she probably wouldn’t have noticed as quickly.
Many viewers related to her situation and some shared their own awkward moments.
“Omg, I had the same issue once. I was wearing a white top and didn’t see those huge brown spots from self-tanner. It was a disaster,” one commented.
Others speculated that she was making a “walk of shame” after spending the night at his home.
“You are on your walk of shame and you are worried about a pit stain?” a viewer asked.
“Not a walk of shame!! Just wore the shirt again today,” she replied.
“If you’re wearing the shirt a day later, I think they didn’t mind,” another TikTok user chimed in.
