Victoria Beckham hails ‘loving daughter-in-law’ Nicola Peltz in sweet birthday message-Tori Brazier-Entertainment – Metro

Victoria Beckham has shared a sweet birthday message to her daughter-in-law Nicola Peltz, declaring her fondness for the star and sharing a cute moment together.

The former Spice Girl, 49, took to Instagram to post a clip of them both dancing around on the beach together, laughing, to Lindsey Buckingham’s song Trouble as she wrote ‘we love you so much’.

Nicola, who married Victoria and her fooball icon husband David Beckham’s oldest son Brooklyn, 24, in 2022, turned 29 on Tuesday.

She and her mother-in-law were seen frolicking together in the sand, coordinating their moves, as the Transformers actress managed to keep her balance in a pair of towering wedge sandals.

At one point Nicola, who reportedly has her eye on taking part in Strictly Come Dancing, put her hands on Victoria’s waist as they laughed before holding hands and stretching out their arms for their final moves as they bopped away together.

‘Happy birthday @NicolaAnnePeltzBeckham… We love you so much!! Your love, kindness, talent and your ability to dance on sand in a major wedge!!😂,’ Victoria began in the caption.

She also followed up in her Instagram Stories by sharing another picture of Nicola from the same beach in her lace-trimmed white shorts and black crop-top, posing with her arms around husband Brooklyn’s neck.

Her final picture showed Victoria with Nicola posing on a colder day in jeans and holding drinks in matching big glasses.

‘Happy birthday! We love you!!!’ she wrote across the photo, alongside pasting a birthday cake emoji across the bottom.

The fashion designer’s husband David also got involved, sharing photos on his Instagram too, which included a fresh group snap of them posing on the shoreline, featuring himself, Victoria and daughter Harper, 12, with Nicola posing with her arms slung over the shoulders of Brooklyn and his youngest brother Cruz, 18.

Only son Romeo, 21, was missing.

‘Happy birthday! Here’s to having more fun celebrating with you,’ the Manchester United legend penned, as well as telling Nicola to ‘have the most amazing day’ in a separate post.

Brooklyn and Nicola tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in April 2022 in Florida after first starting dating in 2019.

Rumours persisted over a fall-out between Nicola and her mother-in-law, but this gossip looks to be firmly in the past.

Nicola previously addressed speculation around a so-called feud with Victoria, rubbishing the claims as she conceded that ‘no family is perfect’.

The Bates Motel actress was accused of snubbing an offer to wear one of Victoria’s designs as her wedding dress, leading to frostiness between the pair, but the actress shut down the rumours. 

‘It’s not a feud! I keep seeing everywhere that word, “feud, feud, feud!”’ Nicola said.

‘I don’t know why they say “feud”? I mean, maybe they picked up on something? And now they’re labelling it feud?’ 

‘No family is perfect. No family,’ she told the Sunday Times in October 2022.

Nicola then went into detail with her version of events, explaining how she was in a text chain with her mother, Victoria and her longtime stylist Leslie.

They were discussing design ideas for her bridal looks when Victoria reportedly messaged Nicola’s mother to say that her atelier wouldn’t be able to make the dress in time.

According to Nicola, it’s likely Victoria contacted her mum first as the actress was busy working on the film Lola James, which is out next month. 

Nicola said that when she found out, they regrouped and ‘came up with something else’, while insisting that she was ‘really excited’ to wear one of Victoria’s designs. 

‘It makes me sad when I read things that people say I was never planning on wearing it. That’s just not true,’ she insisted.
