How to nab yourself a FREE Chanel necklace – but there’s a catch

A FASHIONISTA has shared how she managed to wrangle a Chanel necklace for free.

While a fine jewellery piece from the French designer would normally cost way over £2,000, style whizz Katie Hopkins found a way to cheat the system.

The 22-year-old described her hack as “girl math at its finest”.

She simply purchased a £35 mirror from Chanel’s website to be sent a gold charm composed of the two interlaced Cs.

Savvy shopper Katie realised that if you buy the Chanel Miroir Double Facettes, you get sent a mini Chanel mascara, perfume samples and the gold charm.

That means three extra freebies – and you get to show off with your boujie Chanel mirror whenever anyone asks to borrow it.

The dual mirror has a ‘normal’ side and a magnifying side.

Chanel bosses describe it as “a beauty accessory in an ultra-flat format that slips easily into a handbag”.

As discovered by Katie, the gold charm on the packaging is the perfect necklace pendant.

She looped it onto a gold chain with pearls and other pendants.

The content creator shared her new accessory on Instagram.

“Chanel necklaces are the prettiest thing in the universe,” one person commented.

“Nah, that’s a bargain,” another said.

Others described the DIY jewellery piece as a “style steal” and gushed over “how gorgeous” it is.

In other luxury fashion news…

If you’re a big fan of luxury brands, the one influencer visited the designer outlet of your dreams.

Perrie Sian found Fendi bags for £2,000 cheaper, Prada jackets with an extra 20% off the retail price and more Coach Tabby bags than one could count.

“It’s not c**p stock from five years ago that needs to go in a car boot sale,” she said in a TikTok video.

“It was actually things that people are wearing now, which is why it’s so good.”
