Viewers ‘physically sick’ after cult leader’s face turns blue in ‘insane’ documentary-Robert Oliver-Entertainment – Metro

TV viewers were left feeling upset and disturbed after watching a ‘cult’ leader’s face literally turn blue in a brand new documentary series.

Love Has Won: The Cult of Mother God is a three-part series that tells the story of Amy Carlson, who was head of the Love Has Won organisation until her death in 2021, aged 46.

Referred to as Mother God by her devoted followers, Carlson professed to be both a reincarnation of God’s mother and of Jesus Christ himself, and also claimed she could heal cancer patients with the ‘power of love’.

The group also believed that numerous dead celebrities, including Marilyn Monroe, Robin Williams, and Carrie Fisher, were actually superbeings known as ‘Galactics’ who were guiding them through life.

However, things came to a tragic end for Love Has Won when Carlson was found dead in April 2021, after suffering through years of alcohol abuse and anorexia.

And, in her final days, the documentary showed that the so-called Mother of God’s face had started to turn blue as a result of her consuming copious amounts of colloidal silver.

Colloidal silver, which is not recognised as a medicine, is described as an ‘antibacterial mineral solution’ that contains small pieces of silver and is said to have many health benefits by its consumers.

However, one of the side effects, as leader Carlson sadly found out, is a condition known as argryia, when the skin turns blue (or blue-grey) after being exposed to excessive amounts of silver.

The final part of the documentary proved to be too much for some viewers, who branded it ‘the most insane s**t’ they had ever seen on TV.

One user on X (formerly Twitter), named Sadie, said: ‘Love Has Won The Cult of Mother God is the most insane s**t I’ve ever seen. This woman drank herself to death, is dying of liver failure.

‘But [she believes] “the Galactics are going to evacuate her” and Robin Williams said that she needed to be 103lbs for the starships to pick her up!’

In response to Sadie, another user, named Emily, commented: ‘I am on the second episode right now and I’m almost physically sick watching it. It is insane.’

Another viewer, named Tarebear, admitted that they watched the entire last episode with their mouth wide open because the events depicted were ‘so appalling’.

It is revealed in the documentary that Carlson was once the manager of a McDonald’s restaurant before she left her old life behind in 2014 to pursue her new destiny.

12 days after her death, police found her body wrapped in a sleeping bag, which was decorated with Christmas lights, having reportedly already been escorted across five US states by her followers.
