‘Who needs an excuse?’ Shoppers race to Sainsbury’s for undies slashed to £1 and there’s every bra size you need
WOMEN are racing to Sainsbury’s for underwear slashed below £3 – including bras for £2.40 and knickers for £1.20.
The supermarket’s clothing range, Tu, sells all lingerie; from comfy T-shirt bras to lace corsets, and knicker shorts to comfy thongs.

Savvy shopper Morgan Shield took to Facebook to alert others about the discounts in case “anyone’s in need of a bra”.
She found all bras were below £4, but some were as cheap as £2.
Judging by Morgan’s snap of the lingerie aisle in Rustington, there’s every bra size available.
That includes Tu’s Yellow Soft Touch T-Shirt Bra available in cup sizes A to GG, which has been slashed to £2.40.
Meanwhile, the Green Scallop Lace Full Cup Underwired Bra is £4.20, as is the Dark Green Padded T-Shirt Bra.
The fancy Boudoir Collection Aubergine Lace & Velvet Underwired Bra is £5.10, while the Green Recycled Lace Full Cup Non Padded Bra is £3.
You can even nab the Aubergine & Sketchy Floral Underwired Full Cup T-Shirt Bra two pack for £4.80 – working out at £2.40 a bra.
By way of knickers, Tu’s Lace Knicker Shorts are £1.20 and Floral Print Lace Trim Thongs are £1.50.
