So it’s no surprise the star was left fuming when her singing skills were called into question during the glittering awards bash.

While she laughed along, DeBose later wrote on Instagram that she didn’t find the joke funny (Picture: CW)

The camera panned to DeBose who looked just a little bit miffed by the jab but still laughed along with the other audience members.
Debose, who won an Academy Award for her role as Anita in Stephen Spielberg’s West Side Story, then took to Instagram to make her feelings about the gag clear, writing on her Stories: ‘No I didn’t find it funny. Lol.’
Fans were quick to take to social media to back up the star’s reaction, calling for the head of ‘whoever wrote that joke.’

@anthonyislegit posted on X: ‘Ariana DeBose, Oscar award winning, Tony nominated, OG cast member of Hamilton on BROADWAY…. “THINKS she’s a singer”?!? Who wrote this bit?! I want names #CriticsChoiceAwards.’
@DisneyScoopGuy added: ‘The disrespect to Academy Award winner, Tony nominee, Broadway star, Ariana DeBose is WILD. The look on her face really said it all.’
@PUNKELLIE wrote: ‘Calling ariana debose, a literal BROADWAY star and Academy Award winner for a musical, an actor who thinks they can sing is crazy.’
Gosling, meanwhile, was caught on camera looking as confused as anyone as he won a Critics Choice award for hit Barbie track I’m Just Ken.
As presenters Ramsey and Ramos announced I’m Just Ken as the winner, the camera panned over to Ryan, showing him looking absolutely baffled and more than a little horrified.
