‘Can’t justify paying that’ say Sainsbury’s shoppers left divided by ‘super cute’ pyjamas printed with little hearts

SAINSBURY’S new Valentine’s Day pyjamas have divided opinions as some shoppers say they’re “obsessed” but others don’t think they’re worth the price tag.

The stylish button-up set comes in a white chiffon material with little crimson hearts dotted throughout, as well as red piping on the collars and hems.

And while Sainsbury’s pyjama sets are typically between £13 and £18, the limited edition ones are on the pricier side at £23.

Olivia Woods took to TikTok to pose up in the nightwear, pairing it with a matching scrunchie.

She said she was “obsessed” with her latest Tu buy, with the photo reel totting up just under 100 comments.

“These are so cute,” Holly Hynes commented.

“I think these are a NEED,” Phoebe Rhodes added.

“Oh, these are beautiful,” Courtney Bekah gushed.

One shopper even pointed out that the set was “sold out everywhere”.

But others, who have seen the pyjamas in the flesh, were quick to point out that they didn’t think the pieces were worth the price tag.

“I really liked them but when I saw the price and the quality, I was meh,” Veronica Leszek said.

“And didn’t have my size, only big ones.

“I can’t justify paying that.”

Olivia replied that she “definitely got them more for the aesthetic than the quality”.

Mid-size fashion influencer Hannah Briggs uploaded a video showing off all three pairs of Tu at Sainsbury’s Valentine’s Day pyjamas.

She said she loved the viral sets so much she couldn’t resist nabbing all of them.

Tu designers at Sainsbury’s have pulled out all the stops for Valentine’s Day; there’s socks, knickers, slippers and dressing gowns.

There’s even some matching loungewear sets for adults and kids – meaning you can match with your mini me.

That includes the women’s £18 Valentines Pink Heart Print Pyjamas and kiddies £11 Mini Me Valentines Slinky Heart Pyjamas.

Or you can pick up the Mini Me Valentine Heart Mule Slipper at £7 for kids and £9 for adults.
