‘Itchy, scratchy and not worth £20’ Primark fans blast as they’re left divided by new viral fleece hitting the shelves
PRIMARK shoppers are left totally divided by a new £20 fleece that’s recently hit the shelves.
While many are running to nab the winter buy in a bid to keep stylish and warm this season, others complained that the viral fleece is ‘itchy’, ‘scratchy’, and not worth the price tag.

Fashion fan Sarah Roberts is one of many who recently took to social media to show off the new fleece.
But she admitted that she was left with mixed emotions at the cosy buy, as she said: “New fleece in Primark for £20!!
“I’m not sure it’s for me, but what do you think?”
In the short clip, Sarah modelled the Primark fleece, which she paired with black leggings, whilst in the store’s changing rooms.
The Primark fan, who is usually a UK size 10, explained that she tried on the fleece in a size medium.
The £20 fleece comes in three patterns – Sarah’s black and white print, a brown and white version, plus a neutral mountainscape design.
But despite the gorgeous fleece looking great, the fashionista later admitted: “I found it quite itchy so didn’t buy it!”
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @sarahrroberts_, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly amassed a whopping 125,800 views.
But fashion fans were divided at the £20 buy – while some were impressed, others weren’t so keen.
One Primark fan wrote: “I really want this.”
A second beamed: “Love this!!”
Someone else penned: “Neeeeeeeeed this immediately.”
Whilst another fashionista claimed: “Purchasing this tomorrow.”
However, at the same time, not everyone was as positive about the fleece, as one person said: “I’d love it if it was under £15.”
To this, Sarah replied: “Yeah it’s definitely not worth £20, it’s so itchy!
“The quality is quite poor on it, in my opinion!”
Another then added: “Thought this felt like carpet when I tried. So itchy.”
In response, Sarah wrote: “Isn’t it!! Don’t get how people are buying it!”
Whilst a third commented: “I bought this, returning as it’s so scratchy inside!”
Meanwhile, another shopper chimed in: “It needs an elastic waistband in my opinion! I tried it yesterday and didn’t find it flattering, even if it is oversized.”
At the same time, another user claimed: “Looks like what a kid would wear for a school play when cast as the cow.”
Describing the fleece online, Primark bosses said: ‘On the lookout for an outer layer that is as stylish as it is practical? This plush coat has you covered!’
