I’m a curvy 5ft 2 mum and swear by Shein’s ‘forgiving’ £9 skirts, I don’t even care that the length’s wrong
A PETITE mum has revealed she swears by Shein’s “forgiving” skirts when she’s looking to smarten up her wardrobe.
Zoe Sullivan, who is a curvy 5ft 2in, loves sharing the clothing hauls she gets for her 12 kids with followers online but rarely buys anything new for herself.

Fashion fans are loving the mum of 12’s buy
The 44-year-old previously admitted: “I don’t often buy things for me. Mainly because I don’t like shopping for myself. I love shopping for the kids.
“Body image has always been a little bit of an issue, but I’m getting better.
“Having lots of children and getting older has changed my body shape.
“It’s difficult to accept, but this last year I’m like this is the size I am and I’m going to buy clothes that I like in the proper size rather than squeeze into a size that’s too small and not wearing it because it doesn’t look right.
“I buy quite a lot of stuff from Shein now and I’m generally the same size. So I’m a 16 or a 0XL. Their curve range starts from a 16.”
And in a recent haul from the bargain online retailer, the savvy mum bagged a £9 black pleated skirt which she has hailed as the perfect wardrobe staple.
She said: “I love things with an elastic waist.
“Obviously I’m not very tall so things that are probably mid-length on other people are perfect length for me.
“These are good because they’re elasticated waist which is very forgiving.”
She added: “I would say it’s kind of mid calf length on on me. I’m 5ft 2 so it’s probably meant to be shorter but for me it’s perfect because I like them to be a bit longer.
“So obviously if you’re like 5ft 6 it’s probably going to be knee length but when you’re little like me, yeah.
“I just wanted something to wear when you fancy smartening up a bit so I got that one in black, and I have a sparkly one too.”
Zoe’s clip has racked up more than 9,000 views, with fashion fans loving her buy.
“I love your clothes hauls and try ons”, gushed one.
“You are so down to earth and funny without even trying. You speak real and so many of us women can relate to most of what you say.”
A second wrote: “I am 5ft 2 as well and sometimes very hard to find a shorter trouser length but the skirts look so lovely on you so maybe will try something out of my comfort zone for a change.”
Meanwhile, a third added: “Zoe, love your clothes. Haven’t worn skirts in years, but seeing yours tempts me into wearing one.”
Zoe, husband Ben and their 12 kids make up one of Scotland’s biggest families.
The couple are parents to Elisabeth, 17, Olivia, 16, Noah, 14, Evangeline, 12, Tobias, 10, Agnes, six, Joseph, five, baby Flo, one, and two sets of twins – Charlotte and Isabelle, 15, and Leah and Erin, seven.
The bumper brood live in a six-bedroom house in Burghead, Moray, where they regularly document their hectic lives on social media.
