The Jeremy Kyle Show guest Audrey Chawner has died aged 73.

She died ‘peacefully in her sleep,’ her daughter said.

Chawner appeared on The Jeremy Kyle Show in 2015 alongside her daughters Emma and Samantha.

They also appeared on Lorraine Kelly’s Big Fat Challenge and on reality series The Chawner’s Last Chance.

Paying tribute to her mum, Emma said: ‘She was a lovely lady – loved her TV programmes, loved her animals and loved a good laugh.

‘Her favourite TV programmes were Emmerdale and Eastenders.’

She continued to The Sun: ‘My dog also passed on Tuesday at 11am, and mum died on Monday. I said that night, “mum if you can hear me take Ruby with you.”‘

Emma, who is now raising money for the funeral through a GoFundMe page, added that she has been travelling back and forth to the hospital in recent weeks, where her dad has also been admitted.

She had earlier written on Instagram, alongside pictures with her mum: ‘I’m just letting you all know my mum passed peacefully in her sleep at 4am this morning.’

‘RIP my beautiful amazing mum,’ one image was captioned, while the other showed Emma holding her mum’s hand in a hospital bed, with IV tubes attached.

Emma appeared on The X Factor in 2007 before their family found fame on reality TV, but was criticised by the judges including Simon Cowell, and she later returned with her sister Sam.

‘You can’t sing,’ Simon bluntly told them, urging her to ‘never, ever, ever again’ audition.

Emma later appeared on Lorraine’s ITV programme alone where she proudly showed off her 13 stone weight loss, and explained how she turned her diet and lifestyle around after the stress of her parents divorcing being one of the final catalysts she needed.

The family also appeared on Nightmare Neighbours in 2016.
