My two-second halterneck hack is brilliant for taking the pressure off your neck and lifting your fuller bust, I’m a 28G
EVERY woman over a certain cup size knows the pain of wearing a halterneck top.
One fashion fan shared her DIY trick for taking the pressure off your neck and lifting your bust.
TikTok user Lara showed her followers the fashion hack she uses when wearing halterneck topsTikTok/bigb00biebible
In her video, Lara (@bigb00biebible) demonstrated two variations of her quick style hack for her followers.
The TikToker has previously shared that she wears a cup size 28G.
“If you have a fuller bust this is one of my go-to tricks when looking at tops,” Lara told her followers.
She modeled a black halterneck top from Asos as she showed her audience her quick trick.
Lara explained that the strap on the back of the top is “not adjustable at all.”
She told her viewers that she couldn’t wear the top as she needed “some sort of support.”
“Ideally, I would want it to be up here, I would feel a lot more comfortable going like that,” she explained, pulling on the strap to show a more supported fit.
“You can’t tie the top, you can’t adjust it so you can either knot the top if you have enough material, just to give that extra lift to the boobs,” Lara advised.
If there isn’t enough material to tie the strap in a knot, she offered an alternative method.
“I get a hair band and all I do is just tie [it],” Lara explained to her audience.
She turned her back to the camera to demonstrate the trick.
“Just look at that, the support makes all the difference,” Lara concluded.
“To be absolutely honest, that would be a lot easier but, as a fuller-busted lady, we have to do these things to support the boobs,” she said.
TikTok users took to the comments section to share their thoughts on the fashion struggle.
“Sometimes, if there’s enough room you can twist the halterneck so it’s crisscross and then it lifts them,” suggested one viewer.
“I have this top!! I ended up sewing it tighter at the neck and love it now but always just think clothes should fit you not the other way round,” wrote another follower.
