Amanda Holden has used her interior design passion to give her youngest daughter a dream bedroom.

The Britain’s Got Talent judge, 52, is thought to have purchased her current mansion in Surrey, after selling her former home in the same area for around £5 million.

They may have only moved in just before Christmas but they’ve wasted no time putting their stamp on the place.

Hollie, 11, saw her room transformed from a fairly bland design into a haven, which took inspiration from the Los Angeles celeb hangout – The Beverly Hills Hotel in California.

Amanda, who also has Lexi, 17, with her husband Chris Hughes, divulged to her 2.1 million followers all about her decorating decisions.

First, they were firm in what they didn’t want – carpets and neutrals, but instead were after ‘Beverly Hills Hotel vibes’. Our childhood bedroom inspiration was more ‘Groovy Chick’.

To create the desired aesthetic, they went for orac panelling on the walls and dark herringbone floors, which Amanda believes are a ‘game changer’.

They also opted for striped wallpaper on some of the ceilings, which may be a step too far for some but Amanda advised: ‘Don’t be scared to go bold with your designs.’

After showing off the finished look, Amanda divulged Hollie’s important opinion.

‘My little girl is in 7th heaven! This is a proper tween bedroom (I say tween… it’s perfect for anyone! I want it!),’ she wrote.

Amanda stars alongside Alan Carr in the BBC show Amanda and Alan’s Italian Job where they are renovating crumbling homes, and regular viewers will know just how much she loves to design.

‘You all know I love interior design. Especially if you’re watching #amandaandalansitalianjob we’ve receptive into a lovely house- which is a blank canvas! I’m all for bold patterns and pops colour and personality.. My girls got their rooms sorted in time for #Christmas,’ she wrote in the caption to her video.

We’ll be hitting the follow button to see what Amanda does next!

Last month, Amanda gave us our first glimpses inside her new abode, including her dining room, which is painted green and features a chandelier and large wooden table.

The opulent room has a beautiful view of the landscaped gardens through huge French doors.

The front of Amanda’s home, meanwhile, is a classic red brick and features a statement black door flanked by four Grecian-style pillars.

As you enter the massive hallway you instantly get a feeling of grandour, thanks to the grand piano and winding staircase.
