Last month, former Coronation Street actress Ellie, 22, and her professional partner Vito, 31, won the latest season of the long-running BBC dance series.
Soon after they did little to shut down the speculation, with Vito calling Ellie his ‘baby’, kissing each other on live TV and sharing plenty of gushing posts about each other.
However, they’ve now finally cleared things up.
Ahead of the Strictly live tour, the pair have confirmed their status.

‘We have a great relationship and honestly when you just find people, not just me and Ellie but their family which I love,’ he told The Mirror.
‘You just find these people that you think are going to stay in my life forever, in each other’s lives forever. And all the family and the dogs.’
Ellie added: ‘And the dogs, yes Rufus!’
Continuing, Vito said: ‘We are going no-where, don’t worry I am going to annoy you every single day, every week and every single year.’
After winning the series, Ellie paid tribute to Vito, saying he had been a ‘great teacher’ that had made Strictly an experience she would ‘never forget’.

‘Thank you so much for that, Vito, and thank you for finding the dancer in me,’ she added in her Instagram post.
Meanwhile her partner commented: ‘To read this makes me feel more and more proud of you. Well said. You inspire and give the strength to so many people without even know. Keep being yourself.’
Around the same time, it was declared the pair were participating in a ‘showmance’ to try and generate votes.
Speaking to Metro.co.uk, body language expert Judi James said their signals were suggesting they weren’t romantically involved because Vito was ‘trying so hard to suggest otherwise’.
Strictly Come Dancing is streaming on BBC iPlayer.
