Police apprehended the man in Tribeca on Saturday morning (January 20) after he failed to gain access to the Cruel Summer singer’s home.
The man, who had shaggy brown hair and a beard and wore beige trousers and a hoodie, was handcuffed by officers and removed from the scene.
He was later taken into custody on an active warrant for failing to answer summons from 2017, the NYPD told DailyMail.com.
Taylor, 34, and her homes across the United States have been targeted by several stalkers over the years.
Last year, Mitchell Taebel, 37, was arrested after showing up outside her Nashville home and charged with intimidation, harassment, stalking by threatening serious injury or death and invasion of privacy.

He claimed that he was I Knew You Were Trouble star’s ‘soulmate’, and left a string of concerning pictures and messages for her and her team, as well as her dad.
According to The Times of Northwest Indiana, the charges against him were later dropped at the prosecutor’s request ‘in the best interest of justice and due to [the] unavailability of [a] witness.’
In 2021, Patrick Nissen, then 28, was arrested in the vestibule of her New York City apartment building and was charged with a misdemeanour for second-degree criminal trespassing after being found in her building without permission.

The same year, a man, then aged 52, was arrested after attempting to enter Taylor’s Manhattan home, claiming to police that he had spoken to the star on Instagram.
The Shake It Off singer is currently on a break from her record-breaking Eras Tour, which will resume next month in Tokyo.
Taylor also attended the Golden Globes Awards 2024 but didn’t look best pleased when a joke was made at her expense.
