Bobby Brazier and Ellie Leach looked snuggled up and cosy as the Strictly Come Dancing UK tour got under way on Friday night.

Ellie, 22, is the current Strictly champion, having beaten Bobby and Layton Williams in the final to pick up the coveted glitterball trophy.

Starting in Birmingham, the tour will take the stars of the 2023 series to Sheffield, Newcastle, Glasgow, Manchester, Leeds, and Liverpool – among others – between mid-January and mid-February.

And it appears the likes of Bobby, Ellie, and their competitors, Krishnan Guru-Murthy, Angela Rippon, and Angela Scanlon will journeying from city to city via coach!

With hours between each destination, it seems Bobby and Ellie in particular have been passing the time on the bus by getting to know each other better and better.

In a sweet snap shared on Instagram by Ellie, the two posed for an intimate selfie as they were on the road from Birmingham to Sheffield, where the show will pick up again on Tuesday night.

Smiling with sleepy eyes for the camera, Ellie put her arms around Bobby with the streetlights of the M1 just about visible behind them. Ellie kept her attire simple with a denim jacket and a large colourful scarf.

The upload comes just days after Ellie and her dancing partner Vito Coppola distanced themselves from rumours of a romantic relationship, saying they were just ‘good friends’ in a recent interview.

‘We have a great relationship and honestly when you just find people, not just me and Ellie but their family which I love,’ Vito said to The Mirror.

‘You just find these people that you think are going to stay in my life forever, in each other’s lives forever,’ clarifying that they were fully intending to stay friends and nothing more.

In the rest of the pictures, Ellie showed off her costume for the nights she performed in Birmingham, wearing some of her most iconic looks from the series just gone.

And she also gave fans a glimpse of the things the Strictly stars get up to while rehearsing for shows on the popular and annual UK tours.

A short video showed lads Nikita Kuzmin and Kai Widdrington staying supple by attempting to keep a beach ball in the air using their heads and feet.

Vito spread the love in the comments: ‘This is soooo beautiful We are just having a great time. It’s possible to see it through this post. Love you all guys. Let’s go Lulú. We have just started.’

Bobby’s dancing partner Dianne Buswell was also quick on the scene, making sure to share three heart emojis under Ellie’s post as the Strictly professionals looked back on a great year for the series.
