The Parent Trap actress returned to our screens with a bang at the end of 2022, thanks to her stint in the sweet flick, Falling for Christmas.
After taking some time out of the spotlight with her son, Luai – who she welcomed with husband Bader Shamas last year – the 37-year-old will be getting in front of the screen once again in Our Little Secret.
If that wasn’t fetch enough, she will be reuniting with Mean Girls co-star Tim Meadows – but it’s not too clear when the Christmas movie will be released on the platform.
The official synopsis reads: ‘Two resentful exes are forced to spend Christmas under the same roof after discovering that their current partners are siblings.’
Principal photography has kicked off, with Lindsay and Tim starring alongside Kristin Chenoweth, Ian Harding, Jon Rudnitsky and Chris Parnell.

This marks the second in a two-movie deal that the Freaky Friday icon had with Netflix, following on from Falling for Christmas.
Aside from an all-too-brief cameo in the new Mean Girls musical adaptation, we last saw Lindsay in her first Christmas rom-com, dropping on the platform in November, 2022.
She played spoiled hotel heiress Maddie, who suffered amnesia after a skiing accident, and found herself at the mercy of a lodge owner (Chord Overstreet) and his daughter in the build up to Christmas.
Unpacking her return to acting, she previously told the Hollywood Reporter that it was like ‘riding a bike’.

‘I tried to avoid letting distractions on set get in the way,’ she said. ‘I’m very much to myself before and after a scene.
‘I like to get in my own headspace and prepare quietly on the side. But for me, my whole life, acting is like riding a bicycle.’
Filming Falling for Christmas was extra special for Lindsay as she actually got engaged to Bader, who she met in 2019, while on set.

During an appearance on the Drew Barrymore show, she confirmed: ‘We got married in April actually, but the hardest thing was he proposed to me on the set of Falling For Christmas.
‘Not [literally] on the set, but off set when we were filming, and I had to not tell anyone because I didn’t want it to distract it from our work and stuff so I was holding in that I was engaged.
‘And I’m getting engaged in the movie and I was like, “I can’t do this anymore!”’
