Are The Traitors contestants really on the lash every night? (Picture: BBC / The Traitors)
We all know Diane had one fizzy rosé too many on The Traitors, but how much do the contestants actually drink?
To us outsiders, it appears as soon as the night falls the wine comes out but according to one contestant that isn’t actually true.
Obviously, we’d love to imagine Diane keeping her faithfuls up all night because if ever there was a Lambrini girl who loves to have fun, it’s Diane – but sadly that’s not the case.
Dispelling the myth that The Traitors contestants get on the lash after every roundtable, Meryl said: ‘No we didn’t, we didn’t get to drink alcohol every night.
‘We only got it every couple of nights, and it was rationed, not rationed but we got like one glass or two glasses each.

The nation was in mourning after Diane took a sip from her poisoned chalice (Picture: X)
‘We couldn’t literally have a whole bottle to ourselves.’
To be fair, the whiff of a Pino Grigio and we’d be telling everyone we’re a traitor whether we were or not.
The ultimate hun of The Traitors and ‘mother of the gays’ recently let slip that she had one of the worst hangovers of her life during her last day of filming when she had to lie in a coffin which closed on her when Claudia confirmed she was the next faithful to be murdered.
The traitors were tasked with giving a poisoned chalice to the faithful they wanted to murder next, which was Diane, who leapt at the chance to have a sip of vino.
Her ‘secret’ son is Ross in prime position to get justice for her murder though after being recruited by Harry and Andrew who have no idea they killed his mum.
Basically, the final three episodes are going to be a wild ride.
The Traitors continues Wednesday, Thursday and Friday on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
