Ant and Dec gave everyone a sun-kissed afternoon Thursday by dropping a surprise music video – and now their fans want them back at number one.
The TV hosting duo, both 48, took a trip back 30 years to their days of being PJ & Duncan, revisiting their 1994 single Eternal Love along the way.
After breaking out as part of the cast of Byker Grove, the pair had a solid pop career under their former aliases, scoring their biggest hit with Let’s Get Ready to Rhumble.
And the pair took a trip down memory lane, all the way back to the Byker days, by restaging the Eternal Love music video and posting the results on social media.
However, where the original video was set in a freezing, empty house, with Ant and Dec sporting fluffy winter clothes by a roaring fireplace, the updated video sees the pair donning Hawaiian shirts and sunning themselves under palm trees.

Because it’s Ant and Dec, the short video obviously couldn’t go by without a gag or two, with the pair seen struggling to play paddleball on the beach, smelling each other’s suntan lotion, and swinging in a hammock together. Aw.
It’s been enough for some fans to want Eternal Love back in the charts – and not only that, they want it to beat its original chart position and go all the way to number one.

On X, one user, Gem Tollerfield, said: ‘Let’s get Eternal Love to number one!’
Meanwhile, a second user, Jennie Rose, commented: ‘Who votes that they should bring this out as a single again? I reckon number 1!’
Another PJ & Duncan enthusiast, Wayne, urged the boys to do a full re-release: ‘Come on, this needs re-releasing and let’s get it to number one, even if they do it for charity. Think the country could do with a bit of fun lately.’
Even Radio 2 DJ and TV host Rylan was convinced, telling the pair that he’d ‘had dreams like this’, so who knows – if Rylan can get behind the campaign, could we see PJ & Duncan back on top?
Despite never having a number one during their heyday in the 1990s, Let’s Get Ready to Rhumble did shoot to the top of the charts in 2013, 19 years after its original release.
This was down to the Geordie pair performing the song live on Saturday Night Takeaway at the time, as part of a big reunion special with 90s and 00s pop acts Five, Atomic Kitten, and Blue.
Immediately after the performance, Ant jokingly swore to ‘never again’ perform Let’s Get Ready to Rhumble in public, but if it seems like he’s up for bringing back Eternal Love then a full PJ & Duncan reboot might not be far behind.
