The current WWE United States Champion, who is forging an impressive career as a professional wrestler ever since his in-ring debut at WrestleMania almost two years ago, was joined by the Argylle actor for a frank chat this week.
Not one to beat around the bush, Logan told the WWE legend on the Impaulsive podcast: ‘I, personally, was a little surprised by your decision not to make another John, and have kid and bring more of this energy into the world.
‘Because I think we need more good people – more people with virtues like yourself. but you’ve decided, at least as a stance, the moment hasn’t arrived yet and you haven’t felt it. I think you should reconsider and have a baby!’
Cena – who married wife Shay Shariatzadeh in 2020 – admitted he ‘can understand’ why people are questioning his outlook on raising a family, and insisted while he ‘feels fulfilled’, he’s not totally ruling anything out.
‘I can appreciate that and I can understand everyone’s perspective, I truly do appreciate it,’ he said. ‘I have a lot of love and joy in my life, I feel fulfilled, and I’m still curious. I think until those priorities shift, I really do enjoy where I’m at.’

Logan wasn’t ready to give up on the idea though, and had a (hopefully) tongue in cheek request for the Hollywood heavyweight.
Trying to keep a straight face, he asked Cena: ‘Do you mind donating some sperm for me to raise one of your babies?’

The wrestler turned actor – who recently confirmed his in-ring career is coming an end after over two decades – quipped: ‘You really want 46-year-old worms?’
The controversial YouTube joked that while his fiancee Nina Agdal might not be keen to carry the child, he’s determined to continue Cena’s legacy himself.
‘I’m not sure if Nina would be the surrogate mother but I’ll find a surrogate mother and I will raise a John Cena, I swear to God,’ he insisted, while Cena teased: ‘I think I’m alright!’
