Ditch the worries, she said, and the bra, because tape is great and it keeps her girls secure.
But Emily Payamps’ (@emilypayamps) type of tape is unusual.
Nonetheless, this lady, who already has 178,000 followers on her TikTok, attracted over 124,000 reactions and hundreds of comments to her post.
“How to get the girls to look like this or this using duct tape,” she said, posting glamorous images, with her girls dressed and ready for duty.
Holding aloft the tape and a pair of scissors, she announced: “They’re not going anywhere after you’ve done this.”
There was a small word of caution: “Always make sure you do a patch test first just to see how your skin responds.
“A lot of people were scared but you don’t actually have to be. I’m going to show you.”
With strips of tape already prepared, she demonstrated where to position them strategically.
“Basically what you want to do is push them together,” she explained.
Starting below the cleavage line, she stretched the tape over to the outside of the boob and then swooping over the top, finishing just above the nipple line.
Then she repeated it for the other side: “Once you are happy, you can go ahead and add thinner pieces to reinforce that main piece,” she explained.
She advised removing oils and perfumes with alcohol to ensure the tape stays in place.
As a final flourish, she used fashion tape to make sure the dress adhered securely.
“So you can make sure no matter where you move around, nothing’s going to be exposed,” she said.
Commenters were grateful for the tip, but others said there was another tape she should try.
This person had a suggestion: “Try KT tape, it’s basically duct tape for the skin.”
This person was going to be using her tape trick: “This is actually so useful for future reference.”
And it was timely advice for one viewer: “I saw this just in time for my birthday. I was about to cry because my dress looked weird.”
