Simon Cowell has left fans commenting on his appearance as he stepped in front of cameras again.

This week filming for the latest season of Britain’s Got Talent kicked off, with thousands of hopefuls set to do their best to impress judges Simon, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli.

On Wednesday evening, Simon shared a video on Instagram showing him back behind the judging panel.

In it, he shared he’d just pressed his Golden Buzzer, sending an act directly to the Semi-Finals.

‘And…I’m so excited,’ he added.

The talent show creator and judge captioned the post saying he ‘cannot wait’ for viewers to see the acts once the episodes hit screens.

‘Am liking the grey hair & glasses,’ Linda Anne added.

Just a few hours earlier the taping of BGT threatened to be disrupted after an intruder reportedly tried to make their way backstage.

Security was seen checking the area around the London Palladium as police were photographed talking to a woman who kept her hood up.

She was later seen being escorted from the premises by officers.

A police statement to Metro.co.uk later confirmed officers were called following reports of a woman ‘suffering a mental health crisis’.

They said there were ‘no offences’ committed.

Britain’s Got Talent will air on ITV later this year.
