TV star going through ‘toughest time’ after suffering their mum’s sudden death-Josie Copson-Entertainment – Metro

Love Island star Kieran Nicholls has been going through ‘unexplainable pain’ after his mum’s sudden death.

The 31-year-old who was a bombshell on the 2018 series of the ITV show has opened up about his grief after his mum died suddenly on December 26 2023.

Taking to Instagram stories, he shared an emotional statement about the ‘toughest time’ of his life.

‘I’ve been going through the toughest time of my entire life these past 4 weeks. This pain that I am feeling right now is something unexplainable.. Something that I will never fully get over,’ he began.

The post obtained by The Sun continued: ‘On the 26th December 2023 my mum was suddenly taken from this earth.

‘The most kind, loving, caring person to ever walk this planet. And I’m so proud to call her my mum.

‘The bond me and my sisters shared with my mum was unique and something we will cherish forever. I miss you mum.’

Following the initial post, Kieran has been shown support by some of his 289k followers on the social media platform which he truly appreciates.

‘Completely overwhelmed with the amount of messages I’ve received from the passing of my mum,’ he wrote.

‘I’ve been trying to get back to you all but there are literally thousands and I’m finding it hard right now. Just know I appreciate every single one of you.’

Kieran was in the Love Island villa for four days. Although he shared his intention to get to know Kaz Crossley and chatted to Alexandra Cane, he failed to find a connection.

He’s had better luck outside of the villa and is happily coupled up with Ellena Hoad, who founded a clothing brand and fitness app.

The former reality star has himself set up his own online coaching business, and posts fitness-based videos on YouTube, and Instagram which often features Ellena.
