I tried on my teen era Topshop dress from 9 years ago & the results were insane, people say I look like a 50s movie star

A FASHIONISTA has been hailed a “1950s movie star” after trying on a dress she last wore as a teenager – and finding it still fits.

Abigail Comrie, 24, regularly shares her fashion and beauty buys on Instagram where she boasts 62,000 followers (@abigaiilcomrie).

And she delighted her army of fans with her birthday outfit on a recent trip to Auchterarder, Perthshire.

The blonde beauty, from Larbert, Falkirk, enjoyed a weekend stay at the five-star Gleneagles Hotel with boyfriend Taylor Evans.

But rather than buy a new outfit for her trip, Abigail – who owns her own handbag line Gagga – hunted out an old dress she last wore nine years ago.

She said: “Had this dress since I was 15 and wanted to wear it again for sooo long, sso here’s her debut.

“This beloved Topshop dress made an appearance from my 2015 wardrobe archive.”

Abigail paired the brown and gold patterned mini dress with Gucci tights and heels.

And social media users are loving her vintage look.

“You bring such 50’s movie star vibes, love it”, gushed one.

A second wrote: “Love the style.”

A third added: “So stunning.”

Meanwhile, a fourth chimed in: “Love this dress.”

TV fans may recognise influencer Abigail from reality show The Agency: Unfiltered which returned for a second season on BBC Scotland this year.

The new series once again follows Aquarius Creative, Scotland’s largest influencer agency, its founders Kirsten Cameron and Amy Moore, and their clients.

Kirsten and Amy said: “We’re so excited to have the opportunity to share our story with viewers once again, showing them the unfiltered reality of our world.”

Abigail added: “I first met Amy and Kirsten when we all worked for Quiz.

“When they set up the agency it seemed like perfect for them to manage me. Not that I ever thought we would all end up on TV.”
