Katie Price made her triumphant return to the stage after previously having fans in stitches over her lacklustre panto performances.
The former glamour model, 45, has donned her glittering purple gown and tiara asQueen Rat in adult panto Big Dick Whittington and his Pussy at The Exchange in North Shields.
Pictures from the performance show the Mucky Mansion star singing her heart out surrounded by dancing rats – well, people dressed as rats and dancing – in the show, which runs from January 25 to 28.
She looks spectacular in a floor-length bedazzled purple gown with a sky-high thigh split, and flowing sleeves adorned with feathers.
And the reviews are in, with Chronicle Live branding her performance ‘bold, brash, and camp’ while adding: ‘It couldn’t be any more Katie Price if it tried and, she led the number with a cheeky confidence that set the tone for her whole performance.’
Fans didn’t get quite what they expected when they saw the I’m A Celebrity star in Sleeping Beauty at Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena over the festive period, with many left in hysterics as she looked like she would rather be anywhere else.

Despite the hate, Katie took to Instagram to share how much she enjoyed her time treading the boards as the Wicked Fairy Carabosse
‘Last day of panto today… I’ve enjoyed every minute and it’s been a wonderful way to end 2023,’ she insisted, alongside a photo of herself in full glittery, feathery costume – horns and all.
Despite having so much fun, she opened up on her Katie Price Show podcast, about how exhausted she has been with all the performances – and she also admitted to ‘ballsing up’ some of her lines.
Katie, who has five children – Harvey, Junior, Princess, Bunny, and Jett – said: ‘Do you know what I’m doing Christmas Day? I am exhausted and I finish panto at six o’clock Christmas Eve, There’s no way I’m coming with the kids, all their presents.’
Luckily then, the mum-of-five had two of her children – Harvey, 21, and Bunny, eight – join her onstage for one of the performances.
Harvey, who has various complex needs, greeted the audience: ‘Welcome to the pantomime ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls.’

He then sang part of the Hockey Cokey saying: ‘If you’re happy and you know it, my favourite.’
And as she hits the stage again, it appears Katie is knuckling down to deliver a stellar performance after sharing her preparation for her role on Instagram.
Joining her in the cast of her adult panto are the likes of Drag Race UK star Michael Marouli and northeast drag performer Ophelia Balls – the play is directed by David Ducasse, who represented the UK at Eurovision in 2007 as a member of Scooch.
Katie’s run on the stage comes amid her break-up from Carl Woods for the eighth time in two years.
The news was also confirmed by her daughter, Bunny, nine, who answered ‘Yes she is’ when a Katie Price fan asked whether she was single again.
